Do you love Nashville? SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

Join Our Team As A School Bus Driver! One of our most popular driver positions due to its daily schedule, our School Bus Drivers keep safety their top priority as they transport children to and from school, on field trips, and other special travel. CHARTER DRIVER

Want to drive a luxury motorcoach across the country? If you love people and travel, being a Charter Driver might be for you! Charter Drivers transport passengers on chartered trips and sightseeing tours across the country. While driving for tour groups, they should make sure all passengers are comfortable and are accounted for when boarding the bus after each stop. DOWNTOWN GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The role of a Downtown GSR is an integral part of the sightseeing division. The GSR is the face of Gray Line Tennessee to visitors from all around the world. Their objective is to give the guest the very best experience in Nashville by selling the product that best fits their needs. GENERAL MECHANIC

We’re currently looking for an experienced Bus Mechanic. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of buses under the supervision of team leaders with 20+ years of individual industry experience. Desired applicants can perform repairs with supervision to ensure the proper performance and safety of company vehicles. Experience in school bus repairs a plus, but not required.

The vehicles worked on are one-ton chassis, gas, small diesel engines, and large heavy-duty diesel (Cummins & Volvo).

Open availability is required with full-time employment. Part-time positions are also available. Earning potential up to $50,000 annually for qualified and experienced full-time applicants.

SCHOOL BUS MECHANIC

We’re currently looking for a School Bus Mechanic who can perform mechanical repairs with supervision to ensure the proper performance and safety of School Buses. Open availability is required with full-time employment. Part-time positions are also available.</p>

CLEANING
CREW

We’re currently looking for  Cleaning Crews who can oversee the cleanliness of all buses before they are scheduled to run. Are you an individual who has experience cleaning motorcoaches and vehicles?

CDL SCHOOL WITH PAID TRAINING!

CDL School is available for individuals who possess a dynamic, fun personality, and who will demonstrate care for the safety of our customers.

We will prepare candidates to obtain their CDL Class B, with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements.

The Commercial Learner Permit (CLP) must be obtained prior to Orientation/Day 1. To obtain the CLP, all candidates must pass the General Knowledge Test for the Class B license as well as the written tests for Air Brakes, Passenger Endorsement, and School Bus Endorsement. Additionally, eligible School Bus Driver candidates must pass Metro Nashville Public Schools fingerprinting & background check.

After you have taken and passed all written tests you will receive a Commercial Learner Permit. This will allow you to operate a motorcoach while in training and to prepare you for your CDL Skills Test.

Gray Line Tennessee CDL School Eligibility & Requirements

• Must complete Gray Line TN application process for licensed drivers including MVR, background check, and drug screen.
• Must obtain Commercial Learner Permit with endorsements for position in advance of first day of employment.
• Must be hired as a full-time driver and must remain a full-time driver with Gray Line TN for a minimum of 1 year.
• CDL School Students will be compensated $20 per hour while completing on-site training.
• Students are expected to be prepared for class each day by completing any assigned reading and homework the night before.
• Gray Line TN will cover the cost to complete your Skills Test with a third-party tester. If you do not pass the first time, you will be responsible for any retesting costs.
• If you do not pass the test after the second time, you will be removed from the program.
• If you do not remain employed as a full-time driver for Gray Line TN for a minimum of 1 year, you will be responsible to pay back the company the cost of CDL training up to the amount of $2000.
